About GExcel

A B2B SaaS product catalog generator for e-commerce sellers.

Our Story

GExcel was founded in 2026 by [Founder Name], [one line: e.g. “a former e-commerce operations lead / a solo developer who spent years managing product catalogs for online sellers”]. After watching Indian e-commerce sellers — from solo Shopify store owners to agency catalog managers — burn hours every week manually copying Google Drive file links into spreadsheets for marketplace uploads, [Founder Name] built GExcel as a focused, single-purpose tool: take the product photos and videos sellers already have organized in Drive, and turn them into a clean, marketplace-ready Excel catalog in minutes instead of hours.

GExcel is based in Surat , Gujrat, India, and is built and operated by [Legal Entity Name].

What GExcel Is (and Isn't)

To be direct about something that matters: GExcel is not a file storage or cloud hosting service. We don't sell storage space, and we don't host, duplicate, or retain your product photos or videos anywhere. GExcel is a business-to-business software-as-a-service (SaaS) tool — specifically, a product catalog generator for e-commerce sellers. It connects to your existing Google Drive (with your permission, via Google's standard OAuth flow), reads the folder and file structure you've already organized, and converts it into a downloadable Excel spreadsheet formatted for marketplace and storefront bulk-upload tools.

If you've ever searched for how to turn a Google Drive folder into an Excel catalog, how to do a Shopify bulk upload from Google Drive, or how to get product photos into Excel as links for a WooCommerce or marketplace import — that workflow is exactly what GExcel automates.

Our Mission

To eliminate the single most repetitive, error-prone task in running an online store: manually converting product media into spreadsheet-ready catalog data. We believe sellers should spend their time on merchandising, sourcing, and customer experience — not on copy-pasting file links and checking share permissions one folder at a time.

How GExcel Works

  1. Sign in with your Google account and grant GExcel read-only access to your Drive (via Google's official OAuth consent screen — GExcel never sees your password).
  2. Choose the root folder where your product subfolders live.
  3. GExcel scans each subfolder, treating it as one product, and detects every image and video inside.
  4. You review the detected files and toggle on the ones you want in your catalog.
  5. GExcel updates sharing permissions only on the files you selected, so they're viewable via link.
  6. GExcel generates and delivers a downloadable .xlsx file with columns for Product Name and each Image/Video link — ready to import into your store or marketplace.

Who We Serve

Use Cases

Why Sellers Choose GExcel Over Doing It Manually

Security & Data Handling

GExcel authenticates exclusively through Google's official OAuth 2.0 flow and requests only the Drive scope required to read folder and file metadata. GExcel does not download, cache, store, or retain copies of your images or videos on our servers at any point — we read Drive metadata to build your catalog, and that's the extent of our interaction with your files. You can review or revoke GExcel's access at any time from your Google Account's third-party app permissions page. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Payments

GExcel's subscriptions and credit-pack purchases are processed securely in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay, one of India's leading payment gateways. GExcel does not store your card, UPI, or bank account details — all payment data is handled directly by Razorpay's PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure.
